Our cozy farmhouse is situated on the outskirts of nature reserve Ter Borg. Just cross the road and you are in the largest heathland area of the province. Quiet, space and nature are the major characteristics of the region. The small and intimate landscape with forests and fens is comparable to southern Sweden.
The former hayloft has been converted into 2 spacious and luxurious living / bedrooms each with a private bathroom. Guests have their own entrance and have access to a private part of the fenced garden. Breakfast is served in the dining room. You can select from the standard breakfast with regional specialties or themed breakfast of the month. Dogs are welcome.
In the immediate surroundings you kan bike, go canoeing, go horseback riding or go for a swim. Within cycling distance you will find the famous monastery of Ter Apel and the fortress town of Bourtange. By car, the zoo in Emmen and the museums of Groningen and Assen are easily reached.
